Distance Learning Overview
The BSM Connection® for Ophthalmology Distance Learning Center provides online instruction for eye care practice personnel. The site offers courses designed to provide staff members continuing education in their areas of interest or expertise. Currently available on the website are a series of Clinical, Optical, and General Business continuing education (CE) courses, as well as Regulatory and Compliance training. New courses are added regularly and all courses are included free-of-charge with your annual membership to BSM Connection®.
We recognize the need of many students to complete continuing education (CE) units in order to maintain their certification. As such, BSM Consulting has worked with the Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (JCAHPO) to obtain accreditation for courses available for technicians. This section includes a series of accredited ophthalmic clinical courses.
